Help to increase monorepo timeout

HI Team,

We have been getting timeouts when trying to pull repo list from ADO to add new Monorepo projects. I do not see the same issue when adding normal projects. Please help to increase the timeout. Error as below:

Hello Marcus!

We are taking a look at this, I’ll come back to you as soon as possible. In the meantime, could you tell me if this issue is always happening with new Monorepos or instead you have seen this happening in some cases but not as a general behavior? and also, how many repositories do you have?

Hi Marta,

I’m not able to give you the exact number of repo as there are quite a number of projects in my ADO organization. Maybe about 140, perhaps you can get it from your logs?

We do not add new projects daily but when we do it will always timeout for the first few tries. Just tested today and its happening on both normal and monorepo projects.

Hello Marcus,

As per your comments and the investigation on our investigation, we suspect that as you mentioned, increasing the timeout will solve this issue, hence I have opened a ticket on our side in order to work on this.

Having said that, I can not provide you with an ETA about when this is going to be available but we will try to prioritize this on our side in order to increase the timeout as soon as possible.

Tested a few times and it works fine now. Looks like it takes about 16 seconds to pull repo from my ADO org hence it was timing out earlier since the initial timeout value was 10 seconds…
