It’s easy to get used to luxury.
One time (and only one time) a mechanical problem with my plane forced the airline to switch out aircraft. In the new bird, my seat number landed in premium economy. Peering through the curtain at steerage (where I normally sit), it seemed so cramped. So squalid. I felt sorry for the folks in cattle-class as I returned to my spacious, comfortable seat in premium. (My return to steerage on my next flight was a sad, sad day. 
)
And sometimes I’m reminded that working at SonarSource elevates me to Premium (at least.) Every day, I get to work with brilliant, passionate, committed people, who know their stuff and are serious about getting it right. That’s a privilege that I take for granted most days.
But when I think about it, I remember how lucky am to have been recruited to SonarSource out of this community and to have had a career here that let me explore my talents and cultivate new ones.
