Do you have a plan to support C51 and C166 compiler?

Hi,

As I know SonarQube doesn’t support C51, C166 compiler yet for ARM.
Do you have a plan to support these compilers in the future?

Sorry for the delayed reply.
We do not have plans to support these compilers in the short term.
I added them to our wish list for compilers and you can follow that ticket if you want to see it coming.

Hey @alvin.hwang,

If you didn’t see – last year we introduced support in SonarQube Server for a feature called C/C++ AutoConfig! Removing the question of supported compiler altogether.

This is available in SonarQube Server v10.6+, although you should really target at least v2025.1.
