Custom Group Override LDAP - Group Sync

Hello there,

we tried using the LDAP group sync on our SonarQube server instance, but discovered, that on each login, a user (provided via LDAP) gets removed of all SonarQube internal groups.

Unfortunately, we wanted to use both (LDAP groups and SonarQube internal groups), so we had to deactivate LDAP group sync.

Is it possible to prevent the removal of LDAP users from internal groups, when LDAP group sync is activated?

It’s not possible – it’s one or the other. If you delegate authentication to LDAP, you delegate all group membership to LDAP.
