Couldn't create connection to server (Cursor)

Please provide

  • Operating system: Macos 15.6.1 (24G90)
  • SonarQube for VS Code plugin version: 4.30.0
  • Programming language you’re coding in:
  • Is connected mode used:
    • SonarQube Cloud, SonarQube Server, or SonarQube Community Build? (if one of the latter two, which version?):

I successfully connected to the SonarQube server in VS Code.
However, when I use Cursor, it shows the following error:
”SonarLint Language Server client: couldn’t create connection to server.”

I try to click on “Connect to SonarQube Server”, but there is no response.

Could you post logs from IDE startup to problem recreation?

I found the issue: SonarQube needs Java 17 to work with Cursor.
