Community Rust plugin discontinued

Dear SonarQube Community Rust plugin Users,

I regret to inform you that Community Rust plugin is no longer actively maintained. After careful consideration, I, the original maintainer, have decided to step down due to a lack of interest and time to continue development and support.

While I understand that this news may be disappointing, I want to assure you that the project’s resources will remain available for reference and use. However, please note that there will be no further updates or bug fixes provided by me.

Hopefully the Rust community will get a official Rust analyzer in the future, developed and maintained
by the SonarSource company

I want to express my gratitude for your support and contributions to that plugin over the years. Your enthusiasm and feedback have been invaluable to me, and I appreciate the opportunity to have worked alongside such a dedicated community.

Thank you for your understanding, and I wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Eric Le Goff

Thank you for your contribution.

Hi, everyone! I took ownership over the plugin. Community Rust plugin is updated to support SonarQube 10.4 and 10.4.1. I will release it in the SonarQube marketplace soon. Eric really helped me with onboarding.

I will do my best to maintain this project.
