Hello Community,

We are looking to include code plagiarism checks as a step in our build pipelines. Does sonarcloud support this natively or is there an integration that can work? Thanks

No, this isn’t something that SonarCloud supports.

If such a feature existed, how would you imagine it working? Would there be a check somehow against open source code? Licensed code (source available but not free to copy)? Closed source code?

Thanks for your response. I was imagining a check against opensource but especially licensed code or any type of restriction (anything to legally protect), like the legal form of SBOM if that makes sense
