Cannot set 'master' as main branch – UI option missing

  • ALM used GitHub
  • Manual
  • As an Org Admin not able to chose master branch as MAIN BRANCH
    • This is the default branch for the Repo, but we see dev as MAIN BRANCH
  • Attempted to use the API, but it looks like this is not accepted for SonarCloud.
  • The options that I see for the current MAIN BRANCH (dev) are Rename and for the analyzed master I see only delete.

Please help me understand what would be the correct way or a workaround to select master as the MAIN BRANCH.

Feel free to close this as I see no option to do so myself.
The repo was removed and re-added and this solved the problem that we had.
