Can I cancel a task that has been analyzed for a long time and has not been completed

You can certainly cancel this task.

Before you do, though I would check both the $SONARQUBE-HOME/logs/ce.log for errors and the UPCS project’s background tasks to see what normal processing time is for that project.

Would I be correct in guessing that this project has very large files?

Uhm… Sorry, I thought there was a cancel button on in-progress tasks, but I see now there’s not. I’ve flagged this for more expert attention.

That task isn’t still in progress, is it? If so, you may need to restart the server.

Can you check $SONARQUBE-HOME/logs/ce.log to see if there are any errors?

I’ve restart the server and canceled the background task .Now it’s canceled status.
I checked the ce.log file but found no errors.

With all the GET lines in there, that log looks like the access.log…? Would you mind double-checking the ce.logback to when that background task started processing to see if anything shows up from then?
