Hello,

i have few questions about the file called “build-wrapper-dump.json” :

• is it possible to generate “build-wrapper-dump.json” on a machine (for licence reason) and use (launch scanner) on other machine ?
• with the recent version of the scanner it is not possible to by pass the wrapper; is it possible to make an analysis with an empty “build-wrapper-dump.json” ?

The build-wrapper-dump.json file is used by analysis to understand how to analyze your project.

Not unless the paths are identical on both machines. But there’s no need for that, there’s no license issue with installing the build-wrapper on all your build agents.

Nope. An empty build wrapper file means no project information, means no analysis.
