Another can't get C++ results

Server: Sonarqube Developer 7.9.1
Attempt: Trying to scan C++ code
Tried:
build-wrapper-linux-x86/build-wrapper-linux-x86-64 --out-dir ./sonar_wrapper_out/ make clean all

sonar-scanner-4.2.0.1873-linux/bin/sonar-scanner -Dsonar.projectKey=XX_XX -Dsonar.sources=./source -Dsonar.host.url=https://sonarqube.XXX.XXX.XXX -Dsonar.login=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX -Dsonar.cfamily.build-wrapper-output=./sonar_wrapper_out -X

The end of the story is this:
14:42:17.974 ERROR: Error during SonarQube Scanner execution
java.lang.IllegalStateException: The “build-wrapper-dump.json” file was found but 0 C/C++/Objective-C files were analyzed. Please make sure that:

  • you are using the latest version of the build-wrapper and the SonarCFamily analyzer
  • you are correctly invoking the scanner with correct configuration * your compiler is supported
  • you are wrapping your build correctly
  • you are wrapping a full/clean build
  • you are providing the path to the correct build-wrapper output directory
  • you are building and analyzing the same source checkout, absolute paths must be identical in build and analysis steps

Using SonarCFamily 6.7 and the build wrapper that came from my local sonarqube 7.9 host

Hi @jhill2769,

would you be able to share the content of sonar_wrapper_out? If you prefer to share it privately I can send you a private message.

yes, I can. PM please.

Hi @jhill2769,

I sent you a PM.

Hi @jhill2769,

we are having issues while probing compilers coming from toolchains built with buildroot, I created a ticket for it: CPP-2459.

Hi @jhill2769,

FYI CPP-2459 has been fixed and released as part of SonarCFamily 6.8.

Awesome! Thanks Massimo and thanks Sonarsource team for fixing it!
