About 8 hours ago it ran and submitted analysis on a bunch of PRs that were closed more than 2 years ago. We don’t have automatic analysis configured, instead running the analysis in a GitHub action and submitting the results. However, no GitHub action ran around the time the report was submitted.
How can I debug what triggered this report to be created?
I can’t find the relevant task. The offending report I’m looking at happened on 3rd June 2025 at 00:02. The background task before that is 2 June 2025 - 17:15:12 and after is 3 June 2025 - 00:04:40. I thought it might be a timezone issue (I’m in BST), but there’s nothing around 01:02 either (nothing between 3 June 2025 - 00:10:08 and 3 June 2025 - 10:23:20)
This is puzzling!
Could you clarify what you mean by ‘report’ here?
I’d also like to get back to first point and ask; without a background task, how do you know reports were submitted (for those PRs closed more than 2 years ago)?
We were alerted that the analysis ran on the old PR because SonarQube added a comment to the PR with the results. When I click the “See analysis details on SonarQube Cloud” link, i takes me to a summary page for the PR which says “Last analysis 15 days ago”
