Hi,

SonarQube uses OpenAI’s GPT-4 to generate the AI-generated Fix suggestions.
Do you know if there is a way to change the LLM ? maybe in the roadmap :motorway: ?

For now it works only with OpenAI’s GPT-4 model. May I ask why is it valuable for you to change the LLM?

The reason for considering a change in the LLM is primarily driven by data confidentiality concerns. Many organizations, especially those subject to regulatory frameworks, have strict policies governing data security. These regulations can often prohibit the use of external LLMs due to the risks associated with data handling and processing.

Implementing a model that aligns with our internal security protocols would greatly enhance our compliance and data protection efforts.

Thanks for the clarification.
Indeed data protection is an important topic regarding LLM and the use of AI technology.
This is something we monitor but not planned short term. I’ll store your need to keep track of it.
