After moving sonarqube behind https getting certificate issue on jenkins for "waitForQualityGate"

We have recently moved our sonarqube to https and after that, we were facing an issue for cert while running “waitForQualityGate” on jenkins pipeline.

These are the versions that we are using:

  • SonarQube - Community Editions 8.9.1
  • Jenkins - 2.277.2
  • SonarQube Scanner - 4.3.0.2102

We have added sonarqube cert to sonar scanner server cacert and able to do sonar scanner but when we try to get quality gate results using “waitForQualityGate” we are facing same certificate error.

@anon67236913 here is the post.
Below is my code on jenkins.

node("sonar")
{
  withSonarQubeEnv('SonarQube'){
    sh """
      sonarHome+"bin/sonar-scanner -Dsonar.host.url="+sonarURL
    """
    waitForQualityGate (webhookSecretId: 'sonar_webhook_secret',abortPipeline: true)
  }
}

now we have imported sonarqube cert to sonar-scanner as well as “sonar” node java. Do I need to import this cert to my jenkins server as well?

Thanks for your help :slight_smile:

So you’re using the Sonar Scanner with builtiin JRE, added the certs to it and it works ?
Seems you need to add the certs also to your master, as even though the job runs on a specific node,
the master is always involved in the background.

Thanks @anon67236913 This works fine.
