Adding a new button to navbar which works as a popup for users

Hi,
I need to add a button in sonarqube UI in the navbar which would in turn open a popup on top of the ui. Is there a way to do that. Currently using sonarqube version >7.9
Please advise.

I believe that when you add a page, a ‘More’ menu item appears & the additional page is available from there.
