We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Sonar Research Grant Program, which is designed to empower academic researchers across the globe. We’re committing $2.8 million in commercial licenses for SonarQube Cloud Enterprise and SonarQube Advanced Security.
Who’s eligible?
The program is designed for academic professionals including professors, research leaders, postdoctoral researchers, PhD candidates and graduate researchers.
What’s covered?
The licenses allow analysis of up to 1M LOC in all languages supported by SonarQube Cloud, and include detection of all types of code quality and security issues, including complex taint vulnerabilities (SAST) and dependency risks (SCA), as well as governance and reporting features.
How do I get in on it?
Proposals are being accepted from accredited research universities and institutions. The full application requirements and proposal guidelines are here.
