What are you looking forward to in the new LTS?

We’ve accomplished a lot in SonarQube’s 9-series, and we’ll put a bow on it with the February 7th delivery of SonarQube 9.9 LTS.

What features are you most looking forward to in the new LTS?

  • Faster PR analysis (:rocket::rocket::rocket:)
  • Reporting
  • IaC analysis & mobile security
  • Better authentication, token security & user management
  • Language features like Java 17, C++20, C# 10
  • Something else

Let us know what makes you eager to upgrade (assuming you’re not already on the latest version) and help us understand how best to spread the word!

Beside that I’m not a LTS user I think the most important part for Java developers would be to have full support for Jakarta EE 10 and Spring Boot 3

Hello Ann,
we have been looking forward to the new LTS version for a very long time. Especially important for us is the new reporting and the C++ 20 support. Speed increases are always welcome. The faster the analyses, the more acceptance there is for SonarQube.

@reitzmichnicht I think the horse is already out of the barn on that one. I believe that changed in 9.8 :flushed:
Edit: @Chris has moved the post this^ replies to to this new thread

@Stef I’m glad to know you’re looking forward to the reporting. And who doesn’t love speed! :smiley:
