this is a really eminent change, would be nice to know about those changes before updating.
Even if tracking Sonarsource jira closely i missed that.
How will this affect the mechanism for implementing custom rules that are provided by plugin also ?
Right now my plugin with custom rules works in Sonarqube 8.4.1 as before.
Not sure if i’ll like this decision. I have the feeling of losing some flexibililty.
Let’s say i need Java 14 support coming with Sonar Java 6.6, but i don’t want to update
to the next Sonarqube version that has bundled Sonar Java 6.6
