Okay, looks like you have some other issue. The issue I was facing was what was posted by the original poster of this thread. Which is “Reason: Cookie ‘OAUTHSTATE’ is missing”
Here’s what I notice with a different IDP(google account) and with version 8.4 of sonarqube.
when login is IDP initiated , on the initial/first login, sonarqube displays “You’re not authorized to access this page. Please contact the administrator.” with a link to the home page.
On accessing the home page , and then logging in via SAML again , it does work. Was wondering if there’s any way this additional step can be done away with now.
This is a bit of a necro, but my question is directly related to this subject. It’s been a couple of years since this thread was active, so I’m wondering if IdP-initiated is still unsupported by SonarQube. I’ve deployed this recently and we’re also seeing the “Unauthorized” message, but it works when it’s SP-initiated. Would be good to know if it’s still unsupported or whether there’s something I’ve not configured properly.
