Do I need to clean the sonar database before importing?

Yes, the import should be into an empty schema.

the project details are showing now, and anther question: does the new version of sonarqube change a lot on the application layouts, such as the quality to 2 tabs - new code and overall code, and there is no code smells(the smells type gone?),

Hi,

I don’t remember you mentioning what version you’re coming from, but the 10-series has been quite a ride. :sweat_smile:

If you started from 9.9 (or before!) you’ll definitely notice some UI changes. There was an aesthetic redesign to add spacing to make it more accessible(?). There was also an overhaul of the quality model which then got rolled back some. (More on this to come, but I’m not authorized…). So yes, you’ll probably notice some differences.
