  • SonarLint plugin version:6.15.0.67199
  • Programming language you’re coding in: C/C++
  • Is connected mode used: not yet.
    • Connected to SonarCloud or SonarQube (and which version): not yet.

And a thorough description of the problem / question:
.vcxitems Shared Items Projects. / VisualStudio 2019
Source files included here are not analyzed.
Need to set up?

Version 6.16.0.69538 was released last week. Would you mind upgrading and making sure this is still replicable, please?

under sharedproject
The source code under the shared items project is not analyzed.

SonarLint output printed below text.

Unable to retrive the configuration for file “…cpp”,
Check the file is part of a supported proejct type in the current solution.

Sorry for the delayed response. Unfortunately, we do not support shared project analysis for C/C++ at this point.

If you believe this is a valuable feature you can suggest it in Product Manager for a Day section of our board.
