I would like to test SonarQube cloud. I clicked on “Try now”, Azure devops, I put my azure authentication and it’s sending an approbation, finally I cannot connected…
Do you get an error message? Something else?
It seems you need to enter a justification where it say “Entrez une justification…” and then you’ll be able to submit the request for approval from an administrator.
On my side, the administrator receives no email when I put justification…
I’m not sure if they should receive an e-mail, but I suggest you point your admin towards these docs which point to where the approval is sent.
- Sign in to the Microsoft Entra admin center as at least a Cloud Application Administrator who is a designated reviewer.
- Browse to Identity > Applications > Enterprise applications.
- Under Activity, select Admin consent requests.

On my screenshot, we can see “sonarcloud.io”, is it not on your side that you have to approve?
Nope. It’s your Entra admin who needs to approve the use of SonarQube Cloud (so that SonarQube Cloud can read data, like names and e-mail addresses).
