I also agree on enforcing overall code conditions for Pull Request quality gates. A developer could delete all unit tests except those supporting his diff, and Sonar’s quality gate would still pass their PR. This is problematic for automated PR quality enforcement.
(fyi for future readers, there is a larger thread here referring to the same general topic. The linked issue for ratcheting conditions is ~60 votes, so it clearly has more traction compared to other listed issues on their dashboard)
