Updating from 9.9 to 10.7 Enterprise Edition

Last year we updated our SonarQube from 7.9 to 9.9LTA, we’ve thousands of projects within our server.

We’re working on an effort to update our company’s SonarQube instance from 9.9 to 10.7. There is an upgrade note regarding Projects displaying modules are no longer supported, we still have some projects that were not analysed since our update, I believe that they were last analysed when the server was at 7.9, should we analyse them all before updating to 10.7?

Hi,

Yes. In fact, the upgrade procedure would have you re-analyze every project for every upgrade. A lot of times you can get away without doing that (but don’t tell anyone I said that :smiley:) but not with this.

That said, if you haven’t analyzed them since 7.9, which was at least since last year, perhaps you could just delete them?
