Unknown '' event type in Sonar Qube for IDE

  • IDE name and flavor/env:SonarLint for Eclipse 11.14.0.83019

  • Sonar server :Version 9.9.4 (build 87374)

And a thorough description of the problem / question:

We are working on Sonarlint (Sonar Qube for IDE) for Cobol development platform IDZ.

There we have noticed a message Unknown ‘’ event type keep popping up on console whenever

  • we try to open new window in IDE

  • Or run any new analysis on changed code

  • Or Keep screen idle for sometime
