# Task stuck IN PROGRESS

Hello,  
I have the following problems:

1. a Sonarqube task run by Jenkins almost always stays “IN PROGRESS” indefinitely and I can’t understand why since the analysis seems to finish correctly  

2. When this happens my other analyses remain pending and I can’t find a way to kill this process except by restarting the sonarqube server

I’m using Sonarqube 9.9.4 LTS (build 87374) and I have never had a problem like this before, only with this project

Can anyone help me?

Hi,

For this, you want to look at the `$SONARQUBE-HOME/logs/ce.log`. If it’s not immediately obvious what’s happening, you may need to tune the server logging to `DEBUG`, but even without that I believe you should get some indication.
