Step by step onboarding of existing projects on SonarCloud

I would like to know in precise details the steps to onboard existing Azure DevOps project onto SonarCloud.

-I have onboarded my Javascript/Azure DevOps project earlier but perhaps I did not setup my “First Analysis” correctly thereby causing inconsistent results in subsequent analysis of feature branches.

-Even the importance of “sonar.projectVersion” at the time of onboarding isn’t super clear for Javascript/Azure DevOps project.

But perhaps, I am missing something and therefore seeking references on step by step onboarding onto SonarCloud.

Any help here is really appreciated.

Hi,

The onboarding wizards in SonarCloud will give you all the precise steps. To start using them go to Administration → Projects Management → Analyze new projects.
