Hi team,
Some of issues in one of our projects are stuck at open, I am not getting the dropdown to close them manually! As per my analysis this issue is not consistent across projects and issue categories. Other issues in the same project are changeable but some are stuck on open state itself. How can this be fixed?

Hi Bhanu,
This is a permissions question. In some projects you have Administer Issues → dropdown. In others, you don’t have the permission → no dropdown.
Talk to an administrator about getting more permissions.

I have the required issue administration access for the project. Iam able to change some issues status and assign to others but view issues are not changeable
The issue administration should be common for all issues in the project right? But I am facing this problem with some issues in the same project. I have checked entire permission sets but it looks more like a bug. Can you please help me out if Iam missing anything here

Hi Bhanu,
Can you characterize the types of issues where you do have edit rights and the kind where you don’t? Because there are two different permissions that are relevant here: Administer issues and Administer security hotspots.
