# Sonnarqube not displaying, cannot connect to DB

Hi all

i share with you my problème step by step :

My environnement turned into microsoft azure

This is the configuration :  
svs : windows server 2016  
Data Base : SQL server 2016  
SonarQube : Sonarqube 6.7.5

My issues when i try to access “[Http://localhost/](Http://localhost/)” the portal don’t display sonarqube home

i try many troubleshooting such as :  
start & stop the services (sonarqube)  
restor Data Base  
restor Vm from azure (backup vault)

But issue stay . the log file don’t display any anomaly

Can someone help me to bypass

Hi there,

You should your server configuration (`sonar.properties`) and [logs](https://docs.sonarqube.org/display/SONAR/Troubleshooting) in more details. Note for example that the [default port](https://docs.sonarqube.org/display/SONAR/Get+Started+in+Two+Minutes) which SonarQube is listening on is port 9000.

If you still don’t manage to connect (e.g. at `localhost:9000`) then share more insights into your config/logs (specifically `web.log` for now), that should quickly prompt some next steps.

Hi,

There’s a pretty clear error in `web.log`:

> The TCP/IP connection to the host [zaccforgsvcs19.azure-paas.com](http://zaccforgsvcs19.azure-paas.com), port 1433 has failed. Error: “Connection timed out: no further information. Verify the connection properties. Make sure that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port. Make sure that TCP connections to the port are not blocked by a firewall.”

Did you troubleshoot this ? Seems like you have a connectivity issue between the server hosting SonarQube and the database URL you provided.
