SonarQube showing issues in view from another file?

  • Visual Studio version: 2022 Enterprise (latest)
  • SonarQube for Visual Studio plugin version: 8.30
  • Programming language you’re coding in: cshtml
  • Is connected mode used: No
    • SonarQube Cloud, SonarQube Server, or SonarQube Community Build? (if one of the latter two, which version?):

And a thorough description of the problem / question:

SonarQube is giving results for a file that doesn’t exist but highlighting in a file that does. I think it’s something about a compile-time file for a view but it’s nothing that actually exists on the filesystem:

This is clearly wrong.

Hi can you please try the latest version and provide logs + reproducer for the problem if it’s still there?

Hi @georgii.borovinskikh unfortunately I can’t use the latest version as it doesn’t work for me at all. See SonarQube extension stopped showing issues in error list - #19 by CWDev

Hi. We’ve changed the way we run analysis in 9.0 so it won’t be possible for us to fix things for 8.X as they may not have much common code. We apologize for not investigating the original thread in time. I will look into the original problem with 9.0 now and see if I can offer any help or a plan to investigate further
