We do not want to give administer permission to a group to modify the portfolio/application permission but at the same time we would like to allow that group to add projects for the portfolio/application. How to achieve this in SonarQube DCE edition please clarify

Hi,
In order to change the definition of an application or portfolio, i.e. in order to add projects, your users will need Administer permissions on the application/portfolio in question.
Alternately, for portfolios, you can change how it’s defined, to either use project tags (which would be editable by someone with only Project Administer rights) or project key regex.
