We’re excited to announce SonarQube MCP Server v1.27.0, a release that makes issue searches more precise, improves reliability in containerized environments, and ensures New Code metrics are returned correctly.
What’s new
Tag filtering for issue search
search_sonar_issues_in_projects now accepts a tags parameter that filters issues by tag directly on the server. This helps isolating issues from a specific source, without retrieving and filtering results client-side.
Fixes
Reliable startup in containers
We fixed a critical startup failure that occurred when HOME was not set in a container environment, such as Kubernetes.
New Code metrics returned correctly
get_component_measures now correctly returns New Code period metric values on branches. Previously, these values were silently omitted.
Finally, Sonar Vortex for context augmentation has been updated to the version 0.20.0.4545.
