Within one of our pipeline jobs, we are seeing several instances where SonarQube is reporting files which have not been touched as New/Changed files.
Context: The current rule set for the pipeline in question is set such that when a PR is created that only New Issues are flagged only in the files and or lines which are affected by that PR.
Problem: SonarQube is showing files which were not altered in anyway by the PR as having issues. this is causing PRs to fail the Quality Gates and preventing them from being mergeable.
We are using SonarQube v8.9.1. Has anyone encountered this issue that could help us understand what is happening and how to resolve? Thanks!
