Sonarqube fails to get branch detail from project

• which versions are you using (SonarQube 9.2.4-developer, Sonar docker image for runner)
• what are you trying to achieve
  Analyzing java project driven by maven
• what have you tried so far to achieve this
  Using standard setup as for other working projects. Analysis runs, but warning is displayed on results page:

Have you checked the server (and background task) logs?

The server logs are web.log, ce.log, sonar.log and access.log - which are the background task logs?

You’ll find them under the cog menu in the background task’s row in the UI.

This explanation is insufficiently clear; which UI? I’ve looked in the project’s page and the Administration/Projects/Management UI,and not finding the expected cog menu in the UI. We’ve upgraded since the last communication to 9.4.0 (Developer Ed.)
