Sonarlint for VS2022 has no digital signature

I tried installing this plugin this morning. I cancelled the installation because VS2022 stated the VSIX file doesn’t have a digital signature, so I don’t really know where it came from.

As an aside, looking at the bugs on github and threads here this appears to be an issue that recurs every year or two, which TBH looks poor for a company analysing software quality.

Haven’t tried connecting yet as haven’t installed it due to lack of signature.

Welcome to the forum. This issue is caused by incompatibility between our new certificates provided by the certificate authority and the vsixsigntool. We are aware of and working on this issue, and in the meantime, we sign our packages with Nuget sign.
