Sonarlint complains sonar.tests are not set

Must-share information (formatted with Markdown):

  • We are using Sonarqube 10.7 and Sonarlint 4.11.1
  • Sonarqube is deployed on a virtual server
  • I want to analyze the code in the IDE

Whenever Sonarlint synchronizes with SQ I get a warning stating “The property “sonar.tests” is not set.”. That can be set in the configuration file but as understood by previous discussions, Sonarlint cannot use the configuration file and I cannot find the setting in the UI. Where can it be set for Sonarlint?
It is not a major issue but it would be nice to get rid of some of the noise in the output pane.

This trace is mistakenly coming from one of our analyzers. We are aware of that, and it should be fixed soon. Other than this confusion, there is no impact on users, so you can simply ignore this message.
