Our Sonar analysis job in CI/CD consistently takes 6+ minutes to complete — even when the change is a single line of code. This is disproportionate to the actual work being done and is materially impacting our internal SLA of 30 minutes for merges to reach trunk (main branch).
The scan duration does not scale down with change size — a 1-line diff takes roughly the same ~6 minutes as a large commit. This strongly suggests the job is doing a full re-scan every time rather than an incremental/differential analysis
