The [sonar helm repo](https://github.com/SonarSource/helm-chart-sonarqube/tree/master/charts/sonarqube) has this section in the readme

```auto
|jvmOpts|(DEPRECATED) Values to add to SONARQUBE_WEB_JVM_OPTS||
```

However in the [values.yaml](https://github.com/SonarSource/helm-chart-sonarqube/blob/master/charts/sonarqube/values.yaml#L333) it says to use `SONAR_WEB_JAVAOPTS`

## (DEPRECATED) Please use SONAR\_WEB\_JAVAOPTS or sonar.web.javaOpts

##

# jvmOpts: “-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true”

jvmOpts: “”

This is also mixed in a number of sections of values.yaml and it is a bit confusing

Which is correct?

Dear @Tsuesun,

welcome to our community! You raised a very valuable comment and we just took it into consideration to improve our documentation (please check [this PR](https://github.com/SonarSource/helm-chart-sonarqube/pull/395)).

On a side note, `SONARQUBE_WEB_JVM_OPTS` is an old environment variable and got replaced by `SONAR_WEB_JAVAOPTS` (the same happened to `SONARQUBE_CE_JVM_OPTS` with `SONAR_CE_JAVAOPTS`).

Please let us know if that’s clearer now, do not hesitate to contact us back if that’s not the case.

So, I should use below format for using this version of plugin
sonar.web.javaOpts: “-javaagent:./extensions/plugins/sonarqube-community-branch-plugin-1.14.0.jar=web”
sonar.ce.javaOpts: “-javaagent:./extensions/plugins/sonarqube-community-branch-plugin-1.14.0.jar=ce”

and this below line should be commented?

# jvmOpts: “-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true”

Hey @sairama_b,

Thanks for posting. I fear you are now switching to a different topic. Could you please open a new post describing the problem you are facing? 🙂
