Sonar server quota drained

Hi community supports,We have a subscription which I believe for some reasons, we have scanned branches to the same repository so that each scan was counted separately and that quickly drain our quota .We’d like to

  1. confirm if that is true - scanning on different branches adds up LOC of scan comparing to PR which only count on diffs?
  2. is there any way that we can clear/reset branches or even all so that we can prioritize which project to scan ?

thanks

According to the docs the largest branch is counting for every project to your licenses LOC limit.
Have you analyzed your branches as branches in one project or as separate projects? Only in the later case, you are right.

I am afraid that branches is in one project.

can I free the project as a whole (and return the quota), as we do have some more import projects to analyze

I saw there is a deletion option, from where if I confirm deletion, I believe that I can recycle some LOC back? can you advice?

To update. I tried deletion on some of my projects, seems it does the recycle, thanks

When I deleted in the past projects from our SonarQube Server instance, the used lines indicator dropped.
IMHO you get too early warnings from sales, that your licensed LOC is nearly reached - but there are contradicting opinions
