# Sonar dependencies failing when running maven project

Must-share information (formatted with [Markdown](https://commonmark.org/help/)):

- which versions are you using (SonarQube, Scanner, Plugin, and any relevant extension)  
Sonarqube :- 8.2  
Scanner :- 4.6.8
- what are you trying to achieve  
trying to scan the mvn with sonar so that it could reflect it on the sonarqube server
- what have you tried so far to achieve this  
have tried all possile aspect like adding in the property file

Hello @keerthi_s,

There’s no much we can do with the limited information you provided.  
Could you tell what command you run and post the `mvn` command output log (please use `mvn -X` to get debug information).

We are not using MVN here.

I hve fixed that issue as the newer version of yaml script has to be updated to 5 version. But we are getting the below error.  
##[warning]Task ‘AY9gf8n-E6YwNA2JEFni’ takes too long to complete. Stopping after 500s of polling. No quality gate will be displayed on build result
