Is SonarQube able to scan and provide software/firmware version, and to display it on a report? If so, how does it pull this information? Would SonarQube need to be integrated in the pipeline where version repo is integrated? Thank you.

I’m not sure I understand the question. SonarQube analyses source code, whether it’s used for software or firmware. The only question would be the underlying languages. I use the downloads page as a handy reference for what languages are available in which editions.
