Hello!
I was looking around and I found no info on the latest version of the sonarcloud docs concerning short-lived branch time to live. I’ve found it on the old docs website through archives and forum post, but no mention on how short-lived branch are managed by default and how to customize the behavior.
The forum post I come from (2018-2021):
Hi Team,
Is there a way to delete older PRs and branches on sonar cloud through programatically?or do we have any parameters to pass ?
Thanks,
Revanth
I would like the ability to set the number of days that short-lived branches are available for within SonarCloud. Ideally at project level, but also at a global level. With pull request decoration turned on, we complete a large number of PRs within 30 days so the branch dropdown list starts to become quite cluttered.
Thanks,
Pete

Hey @MaelNOUVEL , welcome to the Community! Our docs have a brief paragraph touching this topic : short-lived branches are deleted after 30 days with no analyses. Other than that, you also have to be aware of the project data lifecycle (aka “housekeeping”) .
