Reduction in Project count from upgrade from 8.4.1 to 8.9.5 CE

To address latest log4shell vulnerability, we have upgraded sonarqube from 8.4.1 CE to 8.9.5 CE.

We are using postgresDB and using the default versions of pretty much everything that comes with product image.

Post upgrade, we have seen the Projects count is reduced from 206 to 177.
Is this a known behaviour?

Is there any scenario, where it can delete projects?

Hey there.

No, upgrading SonarQube should not delete projects.

Where are you getting the project count from? The Projects tab of your SonarQube instance, or the global Administration > Projects > Project Management?
