I use GitHub and Cursor. My main language is Python, and I use a FastAPI/Next.js stack
My first run on SonarCloud failed because it exceeded the max lines. I then upgraded my plan. Now I want to repeat the run, but the failed message persists, and I cannot do a new run.
My instructions from AI chat were to clear the analysis cache, but I do not know how to do it.
I tried the Manual method, but my PowerShell rejects all the indicated commands.
Can anybody assist, please?
Hey @Ernest_Klokow, welcome to the Community! Could you clarify, how are you retrying the run?
- If you’re using automatic analysis (runs on SonarQube Cloud side when you push a commit), then you should just push a trivial commit to trigger an analysis.
- If you’re using CI analysis (runs on your DevOps platform’s CI pipeline), then you can just re-run the CI job.
In principle, the analysis cache should be irrelevant here, so I suggest to leave that aside for now.
Thank you very much.
It did start a new run.
Problem solved.
Appreciate your help!
