I’m the admin of my SonarCloud organization (Team plan).
We previously had two repositories imported into a different SonarCloud organization that is no longer accessible to us. These projects are now orphaned - they show as “Already imported” when I try to add them to our current org, but they don’t appear in our project list.
Could you please share how to unbind these projects from the old organization so we can re-import the affected repositories cleanly into our current org?
We’re sorry for this inconvenience. Can you confirm if the “different SonarCloud organization that is no longer accessible to [you]” does still exist or has it been deleted?
In any case, if I understand you correctly, the new organization into which you’d like to import these repositories is correctly bound to the DevOps platform (GitHub? GitLab?) organization hosting these repositories, correct?
This is a known issue indeed, and we expect to work on a fix soon.
In the meantime, if you know the previous organization still exists, is there any way for you to contact an admin of this previous org and ask them to remove these projects so you can import them on your new org?
Is it okay if I make this person admin of the old org (which they’re already member of, but not as admin) so they can remove the orphan projects (or even the whole organization, if you want)?
If yes, you can send me the SonarQube username (email) of that person in a private message
I cannot find any organization with this key in SonarQube Cloud EU or US. Can you confirm again the organization key, please?
Also, I cannot find user with email aziz@hupo.co. Can you get me this user’s “login”, please? (the login can be found in “My account → Profile” in the first section on the page, named “My account”
