Migration of Projects from Azure DevOps to Self Hosted GitLab

Previously, we utilized Azure DevOps for our projects. Now, we’ve shifted to GitLab Self-Hosted Community Edition from Azure DevOps.
During our Azure DevOps tenure, we established an organization in SonarCloud. Presently, our objective is to link this SonarCloud organization with our new organization in GitLab Self-Hosted. Is there a method to achieve this task? Alternatively, can we download the analysis results and upload them to the new organization?
Also, if we delete the old organization, would we regain the number of lines being used by that organization? Additionally, we’re seeking guidance on establishing communication between GitLab in the private network and SonarCloud.
If you have any steps or recommendations for these processes, we would greatly appreciate it. A prompt response would be highly beneficial.

Thank you!

Unfortunately, it’s currently not possible to unbind an organization and bind it to something else. You can vote for adding this feature here.

The only way to have your organization bound to a different DevOps Platform currently is to create a new organization and re-import your repositories there. Unfortunately, that means you’ll lose the results of previous analyses on these projects.

If you have a yearly subscription for your current organization, a new coupon can be issued for your new organization by reaching out to your sale representative.
If you have a monthly subscription by credit card, you can simply stop your subscription on the old organization and re-subscribe on the new one.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello Colin,

Is there a way to download the analysis report for each project?

Nothing like this is supported – although you may be able to selectively get some information out using the Web API.
