Migrate organization binding from Azure DevOps to GitHub

Hi,

We have a paid organization (rynoh757) on the Team plan, currently bound to Azure DevOps. We want to migrate the binding to GitHub so we can use GitHub Actions as our CI pipeline instead.

I am the admin of the SonarCloud organization and also have owner permissions on the GitHub organization, both under the same email address.

Since the organization was imported from Azure DevOps, I understand the self-service unbind is not available from the UI. Could you assist with performing the unbind so we can then rebind to GitHub?

If migrating the binding is not possible, could you advise on how to transfer our current Team plan license to a new organization bound to GitHub, so we are not paying for two separate organizations?

Thank you.

Hey @rynoh-admin, welcome to the Community!

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to change the binding for SonarQube Cloud organizations bound to Azure DevOps. However, I would like to clarify: you are using GitHub for CI, but are your actual repositories and PRs on GitHub too? Or do they remain on Azure? The org should be bound to the DevOps platform where the repo and PRs are (that’s where you want your PR decorations to be posted).
