Loss of some access when new licenses were provided but not applied

What are you trying to accomplish? Upgrade Sonarqube from version 8.9.6.50800 to 9.9.0.65466

  • Why does this matter to you?
    Users need to login so as to view scan result
  • How would that look in SonarQube? Alternatives?
    No answer
  • How would we know it works well?
    AD user would be able to login to Sonarqube console
  • Why should it be a priority now?
    Users are unable to login to Sonarqube at the moment

Background Info:
We upgraded sonarqube and the upgrade seem to go well after , I checked the log which said “ldap
connected ok” but no other user is able to login except for my local user.

Can you share your DEBUG server logs with me? Here’s how to get them:

  • Log in as an admin
  • Go to Administration > System > Logs level > change to DEBUG
  • Log out
  • Log in as the user having issue, expect a failure
  • Log back in as admin
  • Revert the Logs level back to INFO
  • Download the “Web Server” log file and attach it here
