Hello, I am using a trial license to analyze a project with the SonarQube cloud product. The analysis is taking a very long time.
I set up an account two days ago and the initial analysis is still running. I followed the set up documentation here – (GitHub | SonarQube Cloud Documentation) and the code repository qualified for “Automatic” analysis.
The repo is hosted with Github and is fairly large (~900,000 LOC). Perhaps something is configured incorrectly? The cloud console doesn’t show any errors or warnings. How do I proceed with troubleshooting? Thanks,
There’s no published size limit for automatic analysis (I’m going to raise that internally) but I suppose there is one from a practical standpoint. I suspect your analysis job timed out on the back end. But since we don’t offer any access to automatic analysis logs, there’s no way for anyone but one of our back-end engineers to know for sure.
