Is there a way to not Fail when no code is present?

We are trying to setup a build pipeline pattern to include Sonarqube scans, but not all of our projects have code to scan. Is there a way to configure Sonarqube to not report a failure when there isn’t any code to scan? We have version 8.6. This is the message that occurs:
“17:33:04.474 No analysable projects were found. SonarQube analysis will not be performed. Check the build summary report for details.
17:33:04.474 Generation of the sonar-properties file failed. Unable to complete the analysis.”

Hi @bufbooth ,

can you share a little more about the infrastructure and software components we are talking about here? specially the CI/CD solution that you want to use and the scanner that you are invoking.

depending on this there are a couple of things we can try, but in general this kind of behavior is against the Fail Fast Principle and not intended by sonarsource.
that said you could wrap the scanner execution in jenkins for example in a generic try{...} catch{...} block to let you pipeline continue even when there is a failure there.
